Jubilee turned one month old!⁣ ⁣ The newborn p Jubilee turned one month old!⁣
⁣
The newborn phase is filled with so many ups and downs and lots of adjustment. 💕⁣
⁣
When you’re up 3 times in the night to feed the baby, it feels like forever. And yet in reality, this season is so short and passes so quickly. ⁣
⁣
I think it’s unrealistic to expect mothers to “enjoy every moment” but there I definitely savor at least a moment or two each day. ⁣
⁣
Watching Brielle as a big sister is such a joy. She’s a natural! 😊
In my latest article, I’m sharing a key factor i In my latest article, I’m sharing a key factor in developing a victorious mindset when it comes to giving birth. I talk about how I practiced exchanging fear for truth during my pregnancy with Jubilee.⁣
⁣
“Fear is one of the enemy’s primary tactics to rob believers of the abundant life Jesus promises them. The enemy works overtime to interfere with our partnership with God to bring life into the world through childbirth.”⁣

Brielle got her wish for it to snow at our home! ❄️

Snow days and celebrating Valentines Day looked very different this year for me. It was hard not being able to participate like I’m used to! ❤️

But right now there’s so much adjustment happening to life with a newborn, and that’s all I’m capable of right now. It’s so easy to want to wish away all the hard things that come with this season. But it’s so very short.⏳

So it’s another exercise in letting go of expectations and honing in on what’s most important to me which is enjoying my family, even if it looks different this year.
We’re celebrating one week with our precious Jub We’re celebrating one week with our precious Jubilee 💕 and I’m sharing over on my website about how I prepared for her birth. ⁣
⁣
Studies show that the meaning women assign to their births is just as important as the actual birth events themselves. ⁣
⁣
With that in mind, I prepared for Jubilee’s birth with a victorious birth mindset. Instead of focusing on a rigid birth plan, I prepared for how I would stay connected to God’s presence and truth in the midst of birth, however it unfolded. ⁣
